Elden Ring Tarnished Edition: All Torrent Skins Locations

Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition adds three new cosmetic appearances for Torrent through the Tarnished Pack: Tree Sentinel, Silver of Caria, and Funereal Night.

Bandai Namco officially calls them Spectral Steed Attire, while the collectible items themselves appear as Spectral Steed Regalia. None of them improve Torrent’s health, speed, or abilities—they only change his appearance.

The three skins are available in Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition on Nintendo Switch 2 and through the Tarnished Pack DLC on the other supported platforms. You can collect them on an existing character; starting a new playthrough is not required.

Funereal Night Torrent

There are three new Torrent skins to collect. Tree Sentinel and Carian Silver are inside chests, while Funereal Night is a ground pickup in the Altus Plateau.

Tree Sentinel Torrent Skin Location

Tree Sentinel Torrent Skin

The Tree Sentinel Spectral Steed Attire is the earliest of the three skins you can reasonably collect. It gives Torrent the gold-armored appearance of the Tree Sentinel’s mount and is hidden in Stormveil Castle after defeating Godrick the Grafted.

1. Progress through Stormveil Castle and defeat Godrick the Grafted.
2. Rest at the Godrick the Grafted Site of Grace.
3. Continue forward from the boss arena into the large throne room.
4. Move behind the throne and take the doorway on the right.
5. Turn into the small room connected to this passage.
6. Open the newly added chest to obtain Spectral Steed Regalia: Tree Sentinel.

The chest is in an area that was previously empty, so returning players who defeated Godrick before installing the Tarnished Pack can simply fast travel back and collect it.

This skin changes Torrent into a heavily armored golden steed matching the Tree Sentinel aesthetic.

Carian Silver Torrent Skin Location

Carian Silver Torrent Skin Location

The second skin is the Silver of Caria Spectral Steed Attire, commonly shown in the collectible/menu naming as Carian Silver. It is found at Ranni’s Rise in northern Liurnia of the Lakes.

You need access to the Three Sisters area behind Caria Manor, so you must first clear the manor and defeat Royal Knight Loretta.

1. Travel to Caria Manor in northwest Liurnia.
2. Progress through the manor and defeat Royal Knight Loretta.
3. Continue through the newly opened exit into Three Sisters.
4. Ride west/northwest to Ranni’s Rise.
5. Enter the tower and reach the room containing the Ranni’s Rise Site of Grace.
6. Look behind the desk/table in this same downstairs room.
7. Open the chest to obtain Spectral Steed Regalia: Carian Silver.

The chest is extremely close to the Site of Grace, so there is no need to climb to the top of Ranni’s Rise or progress deeply into Ranni’s questline just to obtain the skin.

Carian Silver gives Torrent a pale, ornate appearance styled after Carian knights and the Carian royal family.

Funereal Night Torrent Skin Location

Funereal Night Torrent Skin

The Funereal Night Spectral Steed Attire is the final skin and gives Torrent the dark armored appearance associated with the Night’s Cavalry. Unlike the other two skins, it is not inside a chest. It is a ground pickup near a Sword Monument in the Capital Outskirts section of the Altus Plateau.

The easiest route is from the Hermit Merchant’s Shack Site of Grace.

1. Fast travel to the Hermit Merchant’s Shack in the Capital Outskirts.
2. Ride southeast from the Site of Grace toward the cliffside.
3. Follow the route until you reach the large Sword Monument, recognizable by the collection of enormous swords embedded in the ground.
4. Search the area around the monument rather than looking for a chest.
5. Look for a smaller sword sticking upright from the ground, near the trees beside the larger monument.
6. Pick up the item beside this sword to obtain Spectral Steed Regalia: Funereal Night.

You can also approach from the Outer Wall Battleground Site of Grace. From there, head toward the raised sword-monument area, climb the stairs leading into it, then move south through the cluster of giant embedded swords until you find the pickup.

2. How to Equip Torrent Skins

Changing Torrent Skin

Once you collect your first Spectral Steed Regalia, a new Torrent customization option automatically appears at Sites of Grace. You do not need to visit an NPC or equip the item through the normal Equipment menu.

1. Rest at any Site of Grace.
2. Select Change Spectral Steed Appearance.
3. Choose the Torrent appearance you want.
4. Confirm your selection.
5. Summon Torrent to see the new skin.

You can freely switch between the default Torrent appearance and any Spectral Steed Attire you have collected.
