Genessa becomes extremely strong once her later Bond upgrades improve how often her Doubles can be summoned, how many times they attack, and whether they can trigger your equipped Weapon Ability.

For the strongest late-game setup, use the Axatana with Duality Stone and Torpor Stone. Duality improves the Axatana’s rapid standing light combo, helping you generate Resolve faster, while Torpor adds Stasis so enemies spend more time locked down while Genessa and her Doubles attack.

Unlike most Shells, Genessa’s Bond upgrades are obtained through the Stray Sester at Marrow Keep using the Look Within option rather than through Zhirelle.

2.3. Distraction – Level 3

Distraction gives the build much-needed survivability by encouraging enemies to attack your Doubles rather than Genessa.

Its upgrades allow Faithful Doubles to draw enemy aggression and create a Stasis shockwave when attacked. Distraction also applies up to 15 Stasis stacks through the upgraded shockwave.

This lets your summons create openings while you continue attacking from another angle. It also pairs naturally with Torpor Stone, giving the build another source of Stasis.

2.4. Impetus – Level 3

Impetus

Impetus is the key late-game damage upgrade. It gives every Faithful Double a chance to perform one of your equipped Weapon Abilities instead of only using its normal attack.

• Level 1: 15%

• Level 3: 22%
